I'm Baaaaack. I was reading my friends' blogs (which are so entertaining) and decided to do this thing where you post everyday for a month regardless of what it is. My one friend who I think is an amazing blogger writes things she has overheard so I'm going to do the same, because let's face it, my life is just not that interesting.
So I was in line at a fabric store waiting for them to cut my sparkly felt for the holiday windows my exhibition design class installed for a local furniture store when I overhead these two older ladies discussing Snuggies (inspired by the DIY snuggie project the store was advertising. You too could be the proud owner of a personalized Snuggie. The possibilities are endless).
Lady One: "Oh, those snuggies. Mine is my uniform."
Lady Two: "They're great. I have this zip up bathrobe I like to wear backwards. I've been doing it for years. It's just like a Snuggie."
Lady One: "Did you know you can get them for your dog?"
I just had an amazing mental image of these ladies sitting in their snuggies with fido also wearing the blanket with arms. Genius.
