The one thing I love about the South is all that good ole' comfort food. I'd like to pretend like I'm one of those time honored Southern cooks when I make dishes like this: West Coast Shrimp and Grits via Southern Living Magazine (all good Southern ladies read it). Seriously, how have no boys stuck with me? I'm a serious catch (at least in the kitchen). I mean look at those creamy, dreamy grits?!
Every year at Christmas our neighbor used to make cheesy grits with pork griots. Oh my. Yum. You can make me grits anytime!!
