Knit Wit
I'm home for the holidays which means I'm not in school which means I have slightly more free time. Usually when I go to Ohio I bring my sewing machine and spend the entire time crafting fabric creations. This year I didn't bring it, because I figured I have enough to do with oh say THESIS, but alas I cannot not be creative. So, I dug up my knitting needles that I bought in high school when it was trendy to knit and some gorgeous yarn I had bought at the same time. Now my knitting skills are not too good. Basically I can make a scarf, so with this beautiful teal fiber I knitted up a scarf and sewed the ends together to make a cowl neck thing-y. I'm incredibly proud of my knit wonder. Even got compliments from airport security when they were frisking me. Now onto the next crafty project.

Color Blind Architects
After Top Chef last night I started to watch Bravo's new show Launch My Line. This show has a bunch of professionals that think they're fashion designers paired with real fashion designers to create a line. One of the contestants is architect, David Applebaum. When they were instructed to buy fabric for their line he replied "I'm using black, black, black, gray, and dark blue." Typical architect. Can't see the color in life. Just Typical.
